Service rating : I subscribed for the online version. Only once I'd subscribed did I find out that it wasn't available for Windows, only iPhone/iPad (which is odd, because in the main the magazine isn't focused on Appled devices.. I did e-mail and was told to contact someone else, but due to a rather busy job I didn't get a chance to. Basically I paid a year's subscription that I didn't use. I didn't even received the free gift I was supposed to get for subscribing. Very disappointed.

Service rating : I was offered a free trial. After which I had to cancel, as I found myself having not enough time to read the renowned magazine (I also have a subscription to The Economist, along with 2 young children!). I was offered another free trial some weeks later - this was particularly surprising, but shows great service.

A good publication, however, I tried to cancel my subscription but they continued to send several further issues and to take the debit. When I queried this they claimed they hadn't received my cancellation and refused to refund me. Even after having to chase them to answer my complaint email, I am still being told it's basically my hard luck.

Great customer service - not.
